LEGITIMATE will play the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, MA.

 

New England Horror filmmaker Izzy Lee is being followed for the upcoming documentary on New England horror. Currently in production, the documentary, SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES, is helmed by the all-female production company, Wicked Bird Media.

 

 

Also profiled in the doc is fellow horror director Skip Shea, of MICROCINEMA and AVE MARIA. Izzy and Skip worked together on AVE MARIA, in which Izzy acted and produced. AVE MARIA, like LEGITIMATE, is a dark short horror film that attempts to right a social injustice.

 

 

Izzy's fake trailer, JOHN SMITH, starring UnAmerika's Sweetheart Karin Webb, Christian Masters, Shaun Callaghan, Sopia Cacciola, Michael J. Epstein, Mike Snoonian, Maggie Maraschino, and Sarah Marie Josselyn, played the Brattle Theatre's Annual Trailer Smackdown compeition in 2013. She also completed festival bumpers for the Celluloid Screams: Sheffield Horror Film Festival and Boston Underground's bumper competitions.
